Pool & Sauna

Please note the pool is currently unavailable whilst new regulations are clarified. Please check with us if swimming will be important during your holiday as alternative arrangements may be possible

The heated indoor swimming pool and sauna are normally available free of charge to our guests during office hours. For safety reasons no-one under the age of sixteen is permitted to use the pool or sauna without being accompanied by an adult. The supervising adult does not have to use the pool but can watch from the edge. We have a number of goggles and armbands that can be borrowed, but we do not have swimming costumes. The pool measures 9 metres by 4 metres and at 1 metre deep at the shallow end is ideal for young children. We endeavour to maintain the temperature at 28 degrees centigrade all year round. If you plan to swim daily you might wish to consider bringing towels for this purpose.

Children's Play Area

The climbing frame is a regular source of enjoyment for children and the smaller ones find the low balance beams an interesting challenge. We ask children to use the specified areas when they are playing and not to play on the roads or more importantly unsupervised on the riverbank.

The River Spey and Fishing

The River Spey is one of our main assets as most of the chalets overlook the river. It can however be dangerous, especially for children, and parents must accompany them at all times when they are near the bank. Fishing permits for brown trout are available from 12th March to 30th September. All types of bait may be used with the exception of spinners. Prices are for 24 hours and are posted in reception. There is no fishing on Sundays.

Laundry

The laundry facilities are available 24 hours each day.

Telephone Box

The public telephone box is located near to reception. Telephone books can be borrowed but must be returned after use.
